Using MatteCam
MatteCam is free to download and use for personal use. You need an iPhone and an Apple ID to download it. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
Your photos are yours
We claim no rights in what you shoot or edit, and we never receive it.
Looks
Community looks are free. Look packs are optional, one-time in-app purchases (non-consumable): pay once, keep the pack; no subscription. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID; use “Restore purchases” in the app on any iPhone signed in to the same Apple ID. Refunds are handled by Apple (https://reportaproblem.apple.com).
Look packs are made by us, with the help of AI tools, before release; they run on your phone and do not use your photos.
Acceptable use
Don’t reverse engineer, resell or misuse the app. Follow the law when you take photos.
No warranty
MatteCam is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim related to the app or look packs is limited to the amount you paid for look packs in the last 12 months.
Changes and ending use
We may change the app and these terms. The date at the top of this page will be updated when we do. You can stop using MatteCam at any time by deleting the app.
